The engine is a 2.2 Transit engine by the looks and is a 2.2 JTD 4HV. The fault codes I have are: P1304 - Pilot Injector Learn. P0683 - Pre-Heater Module feedback. I can't see anything wrong with the wiring from the glow plug relay to the ecu so maybe a faulty relay. The P1304 though has me stumped. The van has about 45000 miles on it.
02-06 manual says: The warning light will flash (for approximately 60 seconds) at startup or during prolonged cranking to signal a fault in the glow plug heating system.You can use the vehicle as usual if the engine starts but you should contact a Fiat Dealership as soon as possible to have problem seen to.
Apr 12, 2022. #1. The fault I've got is code p0683-13 vehicle starts and drives fine and no smoke etc with ign on the glowplug light comes on for a few seconds and goes out as normal. Then after about 10 secound it comes on and flashes for about 20 seconds and says check glowplugs then goes out. Changed glowplug relay still the same.
