If you had stayed on world level 2 (which is what level 50 caps on if i'm correct), each xp leyline only drops 10-11 books, while on world level 3 (the one you're on right now), drops 13-14 books. Very big difference in the long run (about 30% more efficient in resin). I understand your frustration though, as it is a very hard thing to deal with.
